COURSE: Starting at Sunbury Weir, proceeding upstream via the Desborough Channel, returning downstream via Shepperton and Halliford Point, finishing at the Thames Valley Skiff Club. Crews must be aware that no special arrangements have been made with the EA with regard to navigation restrictions for other river users. Normal Navigation Rules and S.R.A. Doubles Marathon Rules must be observed by all competitors during racing.

ORDER OF STARTING: Intervals of approximately 20 seconds.

There will be coxswains' meetings at 0900 and 1000 hours at Walton Rowing Club. Coxswains who are racing more than once need only attend one of the meetings. All crews in Division 1 must be in position at the Start by 0920 hours. Crews in Divisions 2 and 3 must be boated and at the Start as soon as their boats are available. A crew late at the Start or starting out of order will be liable to a time penalty of up to 30 seconds. Coxswains not attending a meeting will be liable to a time penalty. Numbers will be issued at Walton Rowing Club and must be worn by the Bow member of a crew.

PRESENTATION OF THE PRIZES BY R.F. THOMPSON, PRESIDENT OF THE S.R.A.

The prizes will be presented at the Thames Valley Skiff Club as soon as the results are known. This should be approximately 45 minutes after the last sculler has finished.
